Thomas (Tom) J. Niehaus

Tom has more than 20 years of executive experience in HIT, sales and marketing, and strategic planning.  Prior to joining Encore in 2011, he began at CTG in 1999 as managing director of CTGHS, a new division created when CTG acquired Elumen Solutions, a company which Mr. Niehaus originally co-founded under the name Exemplar Systems.  He was named president of CTGHS in 2003.  Before his work at Exemplar, he served for nine years at IBAX Healthcare Systems – now part of McKesson – where he was national manager of that firm’s Technical Services organization. 

In his roll as President and COO, Tom works to sustain and accelerate Encore’s rapid growth and competitive leadership in a healthcare advisory services segment that has never known greater demand.  With responsibility for directing Encore’s nationwide sales, marketing, operations, implementation, and advisory services teams, he also leverages Encore’s deep experience in business intelligence and analytics to help clients find new ways to navigate through and beyond today’s complex landscape of healthcare reform.
