MU Stage 2 Assessment and Optimization

Standard EHR implementations do not address the complete data requirements needed to demonstrate quality, improve performance, and achieve regulatory compliance. Failure points can include gaps in identifying the required data and incorporating those requirements into workflow/process redesign, along with missteps in engaging physicians and clinicians for adoption. Our proven CoreQUEST® solution, including our methodology and our specialized tool, CoreGPS®, bridges the gap between specific data requirements and generic vendor guidance to enable EHR implementations and optimizations to meet reporting and analytics require ments. CoreQUEST® includes researched, specific data needs (codes sets, structure and format) and affected workflows for all eMeasures for Meaningful Use, including Stage 2.

• MU Stage 2 Assessment:   Assessment of a client’s MU Stage 2 program and attestation documentation. Provides a qualitative analysis of program weaknesses and/or gaps that may pose a risk to future attestation success, along with an action plan to remediate the identified MU Stage 2 gaps.
• MU Stage 2 Optimization:   Remediation of an existing EHR system to support MU Stage 2 reporting and exchange. Provides MU expertise to integrate existing build, work plan and vendor methodologies for successful MU Stage 2 attestation.
• MU Stage 2 Program Management:   MU program management of an implementation or optimization effort to develop, support and execute an MU Stage 2 program. Provides expert MU coordination and a program management plan to monitor and manage MU Stage 2 progress.
• MU Stage 2 Education:   Educational workshop on MU Stage 2 requirements including the individual measures, interoperability, PHI, patient access, and clinical quality measures. Provides client education, recommendations and next steps based on Encore’s deep knowledge of MU Stage 2 and the EHR Incentive Program.

Meaningful Use Audit:

Encore offers two different solutions to help with a potential meaningful use audit:

• MU Audit Readiness - Designed for clients whose planned attestation date is several months in the future.  This solution focuses on your MU program management and audit requirements at a high level. After initial preparatory calls, this solution starts with a site visit that includes an audit education presentation and a facilitated discussion of self-assessment. Then, Encore works with you to conduct a high-level analysis to identify major gaps. The engagement concludes with a final review of the self-assessment, including recommendations of areas for focus and remediation.
• MU Audit Assessment - Designed for clients who have either attested or who will be attesting within a few weeks.Encore’s assessment involves reviewing your MU program, workflow, and reporting strategies that are in place for attesting to CMS EHR Incentive program using CEHRT.  In this assessment, Encore walks measure by measure through the MU audit recommendations and evaluates your program against them.
